123 Challenge - December 2013

This months challenge at the 123 Challenge Blog is to use the colour Gold, the word Joy and a Bow/s. I have created my layout about one of the most Joyous people I know, our beloved Jo.  She is creative, loud, loving, giving and so so many other things too.  I could have added other colours to my layout, however I wanted Jo and her fabulous green shirt to be the stars - Green is her favourite colour of all time.

Limor Webber Share

I'm still going through images and projects working out what I have and haven't shared, and shock horror I didn't get around to sharing the most wonderful experience of creating with Limor Webber in 2013.  Limor came to Scrapbook Fantasies and taught three classes that were absolutely fabulous.  I to my usual form didn't create an Art Journal in that particular class, I created canvas' and here is a sneak peek of what they look like.  Anyone getting a chance is welcome to see them in real life at Scrapbook Fantasies.  So here is my canvas and some other pics from Limors visit.

OUAS - December 2013

I created this layout for the December Challenge at Once Upon A Sketch.  The theme this month was to journal about your favourite month.  I don't exactly have a favourite month as you will tell from my journaling.

My journaling reads:  "I don't have just a month that's special, it's a time.  The early years of Alicia and Lanes lives we explored old gold mines and ghost towns - Rough and ready - but oh os educational for them to learn about their ancestors.  My great grandmother lived in this shack on the gold fields and my grandfather worked on the mine that they are sitting above."

Kraft It Up - December 2013

I created this layout using this months challenge at the Kraft It Up blog.  The challenge had two choices and I chose to use - Pink, White, Kraft and Gold.  May layout is about my only Grand-daughter Naomi-Jon and how she is growing up before my eyes.

My journaling reads:  "Our butterfly is getting ready to fly - Growing into a lovely young woman"

White with 1 - December 2013

I created this layout about my daughter and her daughter using the December challenge from White with 1.  The challenge was to use White and Banana, not my usual choice of colours - but definitely one of my favourite creations of late.

Prima BAP - December 2013

I have created this layout using some lovely photographs of Awoonga Dam, Prima products, Lindy's Stamp Gang Mists, and the December Prima Build-a-Page Sketch.  I wanted to show with my layout how precious water is and the beauty of our water supply, which just happens to be a great play to canoe and sail.

This is the Prima Build-a-Page I used:

Sketchbook365 - December 2013

It is hard to believe that this is the last Sketch from Sketchbook365 for 2013.  This year has flown by so quickly, or is it just that I am getting old - no can't be me getting old as I'm only 73.

I created my layout with this months sketch about a holiday to Byron Bay that I went on with my friend Shazz quite a few years ago.  I loved the peace and tranquility of the Resort, and the luxury of course.

And this is the fabulous sketch I used from Sketchbook365:
