Scrap Around The World - November 2013

I was inspired by this months challenge at Scrap Around The World to create a layout about my youngest Grandson, Noah.  I have used the Rainbow colour scheme (which kind of got lost in the layers), the title "look up", the word "rainbow" in my journaling and the nature theme from the mood board.  I have also used this months Sketch, as I feel that if the ladies at Scrap Around The World are committed enough to provide it then I should use it.

My journaling reads:  "As you grasp your Dads hand, I know that you will reach out and grasp life and chase rainbows - Go forth and Live Laugh and may God go with you."

And this is the Mood Board and the Sketch for the Challenge:

123 Challenge - November 2013

I couldn't resist this months challenge at the 123 Challenge Blog, which was to use the word cool, the colour teal and stamping.  I used a photograph of my Grandsons, Milton and Noah, playing in the mud on the back lawn.  There may be a nine year age difference, but they know how to have fun together.

Prima Product Pick - November 2013

You all know how much I love my beautiful Granddaughter, Naomi-Jon, and not just because she is my only Granddaughter either.  You all know how much I love Prima too!  Well for this months Prima Product Pick I have combined these two loves into a layout that I am very happy with and proud of.

Once Upon A Sketch - November 2013

Where has 2013 gone?  I feel like I have blinked and the year has gone by, however when I look at the number and quality of pages I have created this year I am really proud and grateful.  This month the theme at Once Upon A Sketch is "My Happy Place", and I found this a wonderful topic to write about my gratitude for where I am and my journey to this place of happiness.  I am happy with my lot and appreciate that I don't always get what I want - I get what I need.

My journalling is hidden behind the photograph and reads:  "I am content as I am and where I am now.  I know that God answers my prayers for what I need - not what I want.  He leads and I follow.  Until I accepted this and still tried to be in charge, things weren't always in a happy place.  Each day brings its own joys."
