Where has 2013 gone? I feel like I have blinked and the year has gone by, however when I look at the number and quality of pages I have created this year I am really proud and grateful. This month the theme at
Once Upon A Sketch is "My Happy Place", and I found this a wonderful topic to write about my gratitude for where I am and my journey to this place of happiness. I am happy with my lot and appreciate that I don't always get what I want - I get what I need.
My journalling is hidden behind the photograph and reads: "I am content as I am and where I am now. I know that God answers my prayers for what I need - not what I want. He leads and I follow. Until I accepted this and still tried to be in charge, things weren't always in a happy place. Each day brings its own joys."

Oh Mar what beautiful journaling!! This is exactly how feel about it too! so often people try to force things into a specific direction and don't see that the direction is not where they are meant to go.
