I created this layout using the VIP Sketch from Scrapbook Fantasies for April. It is my lovely Grand-daughter once again, because she is just so beautiful on the inside and the outside.

Prima BAP - April
This is what I created with the Prima April BAP, which is actually a sketch and it encourages the use of one of my favourite products....Prima Flowers. I created this layout about three country men who were so very much alike. From left to right they are my father, my husband and my cousins husband. All three have now passed and we all do miss them dearly, as a good country man is worth the world to any family.

Scrapbook Fantasies - Weekly Challenge #17/2012
This is the layout I have created for the Weekly Challenge (#17) at Scrapbook Fantasies this week. I love doing these challenges as I get at least 52 layouts created for the year (if I do them all) and I am taken out of my comfort zone a lot with the challenge criteria.

My Beautiful Grand-daughter
I have been wanting to create this layout for a while now and finally got it together. Isn't my Grand-daughter beautiful, well I think she is.

Joyful Layout
I created this layout to commemorate a special day in my only Grand-daughters life, her first time playing in the band at Church. I also had a play with fancy ric-rac making the flower in the top right corner.

The Color Room Palette #107
I wanted to share what I created with the latest palette (#107) from the Color Room. I loved this challenge and knew what I wanted to do the moment I saw it. This photograph is very special to me as it was our last family photograph together with my late husband, and it just happened to be at the Christening of our oldest Grandson too.

Once Upon A Sketch - April 2012
This is my interpretation of the April sketch and theme over at Once Upon A Sketch. My friend Sharon gave me the aerial photograph of the Gladstone Harbour taken before the recent expansions and changes. I was born here in Gladstone and have lived in the area all of my life (except a small stint as a gypsy before I got married). I used muted tones to show the true beauty of the beautiful blue harbour and the gorgeous green islands.
